The human population has more than doubled since 50 years ago, we live in a population of over 7.9 billion in 2022 (Worldmeter) with 1.02 °C 1.84 °F of global temperature is in fact increased from the average to 2.2 degrees Fahrenheit, or 1.2 degrees Celsius, since 1880.

90% of the population believes that climate change is real and it is happening, it happened from both natural causes and also anthropogenic causes, yet 90–95% of its variable of scales caused by anthropogenic or human-caused,
The cause of heat effects from climate change causes every part of our body. It can lead to exhaustion, heatstroke, anxiety, impaired cognitive function, and even premature death from heart and lung disease. and how could humans control climate change?

From the question above there are two cognitions, first, ‘Human Control the Changes Upon the Climate’ and also ‘Human can Control the Climate Change’, yes both of the conjunctions are true, human is responsible for influencing the climate and the earth’s temperature and human also responsible in controlling the climate so we as a human can live in this world better.

What is Human Control though? Human Control is a will of people or a group of people to influence behavior or course of events in its environment and the world, which means the nature of people to create changes or create an influence towards what it wants.

And what is Climate Change? It is defined as significant changes of variant average climate conditions caused by the long-term shift of temperature and/or weather pattern.

“to stand up and say that 100% of global warming is because of human activity, I think on its face, is just indefensible” — Rick Perry, the US energy secretary, during a congressional hearing

The climate system switches its energy from the sun that is reflected off the earth and give feedback into the space when it absorbs energy from the sun and releases the heat through the earth itself, according to IPCC state as “Taken as a whole”, or “the range of published evidence indicates that the net damage costs of climate change are likely to be significant and to increase over time.” There are a variety of factors of climate change, both natural and human influence.

Climate Change from Natural Influence

The world is now 4.5 B years old, it has been through a lot of things from the intensity of the sun, eruptions from the volcanic, the rotation of the planet and stars which cause the climate change through the earth, although nature plays its part as the cause of climate change, yet its influence is way too small.

Climate Change from Human Influence

Humans are influencing the climate and earth tempt by burning fossil fuels, cutting down trees, forests, farming livestock, and also greenhouse effects. Since the mid-20th-century greenhouse emission generates the leading cause of the earth’s climate change, it impacted from heat and radiating to the earth and change the heat to gasses, from all of those affect atmosphere’s share of carbon dioxide more than it should be.

From all of the causes, we can still control and prevent climate change, here are ways to prevent climate change starting from ourselves

  1. Cutting consumption and waste,
  2. Start 3R: Reuse, Reduce, Recycle (stop using plastics in any kind of activities, create a composite from wasted food, recycle waste into something else)
  3. Be concerned about electricity use (turn off when it’s not needed),
  4. Stop the greenhouse effect (from planting, houses, cars which could create evaporation),
  5. Use fewer fossil fuels (start mobility with public transportation),
  6. Be more concerned and aware of dairy and meat consumption,
  7. Last but not least start from ourselves first before we help others to do the same.

Our actions count more.
